Long Pasia

Long Pasia, located in the south-west corner of Sabah, is a village of the indigenous Lun Dayeh (Lun Bawang) people. Sitting at 1,000m above sea level on the Maligan Highlands, cool mist frequents Long Pasia, hiding some least-known natural and historical heritages of the Heart of Borneo. It is adjacent to the famous Payeh Maga, home to many Bornean wildlife.

Mouth of the Red River: Long Pasia gets its name from the confluence (Long) of river (Pa) red (Sia).
Magical sunset over our village.
We are planning to establish our community conservation area in the catchment between Kuala Maga and Bukit Rimau.
Most visitors would enjoy the cultural heritage of Lun Dayeh.
Organic rice is getting more common with the effort of our agriculture cooperative, and therefore buffaloes are also ubiquitous.
Abandoned since the 1980, our Robusta coffee trees have almost become a forest. We are planning to start our own brand of rainforest coffee.
Explore and be impressed with the richness of flora in our forest.
