Mebong

Mebong Island was just like any other hilltop in the ancestral land of Uma Belor community, before the flooding of Batang Balui by Bakun Dam. It is now better known for its Mebong Cove Villa, part of the award-winning Uma Belor Leo Dian Homestay Program. These accommodations are part of the initiatives to improve livelihood of the Sungai Asap communities through tourism.

The accommodation and transport facilities of Mebong make it a convenient base to explore nearby forest and waterfalls, especially the programs at Belanum. Speak with us if you are keen for a visit.
